Vai Ranganathan is a Research Assistant at Center for Autism Research (CAR). He works primarily on the SPARK research study, a multi-site study sponsored by the Simons Foundation. SPARK is the largest genetic study of autism ever, and aims to advance our understanding of autism by studying genetic, behavioral and medical information. Mr. Ranganathan also works regularly with CHOP’s Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Clinic in an effort to increase CAR’s recognition in the community and engage families in autism research. Mr. Ranganathan graduated from Bucknell University with a major in Neuroscience. He hopes to earn a medical degree and go on to provide quality care in a neurologic or neurodevelopmental setting.
