Post-Doctoral Fellow

Laura Soskey Cubit, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Autism Research. Dr. Cubit earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rochester, where she worked primarily with children and adolescents with ASD and their families, in both clinical and research settings. She completed her APA-accredited clinical psychology internship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Cubit’s research focuses on investigating neurocognitive processes underlying the development of core ASD symptoms. Specifically, she is interested in quantifying the impact of environmental complexity and predictability on attention and learning across development. She has used a variety of methods to address these questions, including eye tracking, touch screen tasks, behavioral tasks, and computational modeling.
