Heather Wadsworth

Heather is a psychology intern in the autism track and a LEND fellow at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She is a doctoral candidate in the Medical/Clinical Psychology PhD program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Heather’s doctoral research has focused on identifying the neural basis of imitation and social communication skills in high-functioning children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In addition to her rotation at CAR, she also assists with consultation services through the CHOP Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Center and works with children seen through the CHOP Anxiety Behaviors Clinic and the CHOP Depression Clinic. In the spring of 2014, Heather will also be rotating through the Regional Autism Clinic, where she will work as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive evaluations for toddlers. Later in 2014, Heather will join CAR full-time as a post-doctoral fellow.
