
Amanda Bennett, MD
Dr. Bennett is a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Instructor at The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She is a clinical consultant for the Center for Autism Research, collaborating on developmental assessments for children with or at risk of having an Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disability.
She earned her medical degree at Marshall University School of Medicine in 2002 and completed her general pediatric training at Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children and Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine in 2005. She completed her Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics training at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in June 2008 and will earn a Masters in Public Health at The University of Pennsylvania in December 2008.
In her clinical practice, Dr. Bennett assesses children suspected of having an Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as children with known genetic syndromes and other cognitive or developmental disabilities.
