
Terisa Gabrielsen
Dr. Gabrielsen is a clinical post doctoral fellow at the Center for Autism Research. She specialized in autism spectrum disorders at CHOP as an intern, working as part of interdisciplinary teams at the Regional Autism Center and the Autism Treatment Network. During her internship year, she also trained in the Sleep Center, Feeding and Swallowing Clinic, Family Stress and Illness Program, and the Center for ADHD Management. She has worked full time in public schools and is a licensed educator (school psychologist) in Utah. Terisa’s clinical and research interests are early identification of autism in toddlers, interdisciplinary collaboration between education, health care, and psychology, and social skills for adolescents with autism spectrum disorders. As part of her interdisciplinary training through LEND programs in Utah and here at CHOP, Terisa has conducted autism training and research projects with pediatricians, dentists, and some of the clinics here at CHOP.
